The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P Standard Combo is a three-axis smartphone gimbal designed to reduce shake during handheld video recording. It stabilises devices weighing between 170 and 300 g using a magnetic clamp that accommodates widths of 67 to 84 mm and thicknesses of 6.9 to 11 mm. ActiveTrack 8.0 provides AI-assisted subject tracking to keep moving subjects framed during dynamic scenes. A 360-degree mechanical pan range allows for full rotational camera movements while walking or filming. The gimbal also incorporates a built-in 215 mm extension rod for reaching higher or lower shooting angles.

An integrated tripod legs system enables hands-free recording directly from the unit. For remote framing, the device includes a detachable Osmo FrameTap control module with a built-in display. Power comes from a 3,350 mAh lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation and requires 2.5 hours to fully charge. The USB-C port on the gimbal can also supply power to a connected smartphone during filming. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi, with Apple DockKit support for integrated iOS camera control. The gimbal itself weighs 386 g and folds down to 196 mm for transport.
