Teltonika RUT976 5G RedCap - IoT router

The Teltonika RUT976 5G RedCap IoT router provides internet access via mobile and local networks. It connects to 5G Sub-6 GHz and 4G LTE networks through a built-in SIM slot, serving as a primary or failover WAN link. For local connections, it includes four 10/100 Mbit/s RJ45 Ethernet ports for industrial equipment or networking hardware, alongside an integrated 802.11b/g/n Wi‑Fi module. For industrial use, the device runs on a DC power supply (9–30 V) rather than AC, with a maximum consumption of 7 W under full load.

The router’s aluminium enclosure is designed for daily operation in non-residential settings. The unit’s form factor supports desktop, DIN-rail, or wall mounting. Administrators can manage the hardware via the proprietary RutOS operating system, which supports local web-based configuration and remote cloud administration. Security is handled by an integrated firewall and access control lists to manage inbound and outbound traffic. Front-facing LED indicators show real-time status for link activity, signal strength, LAN connections, and power. The system also supports VLANs and Quality of Service (QoS) traffic prioritisation for complex network architectures.
