Farmina N&D Low Ancestral Grain Light is a dry food designed for weight management in adult dogs. This formula is intended for medium and large breeds prone to weight gain or those with lower activity levels. Boneless chicken and dried chicken protein are the primary animal ingredients, providing essential amino acids. These are combined with spelt and oats—low-glycaemic grains that provide a steady energy release—and botanical ingredients, including dried pomegranate and spinach, to supply natural antioxidants.

A high protein-to-fat ratio helps maintain lean muscle mass while restricting overall calorie intake. Dietary fibres from psyllium husks and prebiotics, such as fructooligosaccharides, promote satiety between meals and support digestive function. Added L-carnitine facilitates normal lipid metabolism to assist in weight management, while Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids from fish oil support skin and coat health. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate are included to support joint mobility, helping to manage the physical stress heavier dogs may experience.
