The SEVERIN KA4830 is a drip coffee maker with an integrated grinder, suitable for brewing with either whole beans or pre-ground coffee. It grinds beans fresh immediately before the brewing cycle begins. The coffee is collected in a glass jug, and the unit features a water level indicator and a hotplate to keep the coffee warm after brewing. The housing is finished in a combination of stainless steel and plastic.

You control the brewing process via a touch-sensitive panel and digital display, which allow you to adjust the coffee strength to your preference. A programmable timer lets you schedule brewing in advance. To simplify maintenance, the machine includes self-cleaning and descaling functions to reduce mineral build-up. An anti-drip valve prevents spills when you remove the jug from the hotplate, while the removable water tank and swing-out filter holder make filling and cleaning straightforward. The machine also includes an automatic power-off function that shuts down the heating element after a period of inactivity.
