The Keychron V1 Ultra is a 75% mechanical keyboard designed for office and gaming use. It offers three connectivity modes: 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, and wired. When used in 2.4 GHz or wired mode, the keyboard achieves an 8000 Hz polling rate to reduce input latency. The 75% layout omits the numeric keypad to save desk space while retaining function and arrow keys. The internal battery provides up to 660 hours of use, and Bluetooth allows for pairing with multiple devices simultaneously.

The plastic chassis features a gasket-mount design, which provides a cushioned typing feel and distinct acoustic feedback. It comes with hot-swappable Keychron Silk POM Red switches, allowing for hardware changes without soldering. The OSA profile, double-shot PBT keycaps are resistant to shine and wear. Per-key RGB backlighting features adjustable brightness and custom lighting effects. Onboard memory stores custom profiles, macros, and key assignments directly on the device. It is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. Adjustable feet allow for different typing angles, though the model does not include a wrist rest.
