The Fractal Design Dynamic 3 12 PWM RGB Black is a 120 mm fan designed for PC chassis cooling. It operates at speeds from 350 to 2200 RPM, allowing for precise thermal control. The fan speed adjusts based on system temperatures via motherboard control. This unit handles both intake and exhaust duties, delivering a maximum airflow of 63.9 CFM at full load. At its peak speed, the noise level is 31.9 dB. It includes a built-in tachometer for monitoring fan speeds via software.

With a 25 mm frame thickness, the fan fits standard mounting locations in most desktop cases. The integrated ARGB Gen 2 system provides customizable lighting. Power and control signals are managed through standard 4-pin PWM and 3-pin ARGB connectors. The black finish helps the fan blend into dark-themed builds when the LEDs are off. While intended for standard case mounting, it is also compatible with Fractal Design enclosures, including the North, Scape, and Refine series.
