The Synology DiskStation DS223 is a 2-bay network storage system designed for home and small office use, supplied with 16 TB of pre-installed storage capacity across two hard drives. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Realtek RTD1619B processor and 2 GB of DDR4 memory, running on the DiskStation Manager operating system. Users can configure the internal drives using RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, or Synology Hybrid RAID, providing redundancy to protect against data loss from a single drive failure.
