The Synology DiskStation DS425+ 4-bay NAS (DS425+/32TB-HAT33) offers 32TB of pre-installed storage for home and small office environments. The unit includes four 3.5-inch hard drives, providing 32TB of capacity out of the box. An Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor (2 GHz base, 2.7 GHz burst) manages operations. Network connectivity is provided by two 2.5 GbE RJ-45 ports, offering faster transfer speeds than standard Gigabit Ethernet. The system includes 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, expandable to 6 GB via a single slot. Management is handled by the pre-installed DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system.

The NAS supports Serial ATA drives and includes two M.2 slots for storage or caching. Supported RAID levels include 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD, allowing users to balance data redundancy and storage capacity.
