The Synology DiskStation DS925+ is a four-bay network-attached storage (NAS) system designed for home offices and small businesses. It comes with 48 TB of pre-installed HDD storage. An AMD Ryzen Embedded V1500B quad-core processor running at 2.2 GHz handles operations and multi-threaded tasks, supported by 4 GB of DDR4 ECC memory to maintain data integrity. This hardware configuration allows the device to manage file sharing, backups, and local application hosting simultaneously. Dual 2.5GbE RJ45 ports provide high-speed network connectivity, offering faster transfer rates than standard Gigabit interfaces.

The chassis features hot-swappable drive bays, allowing for disk replacement without system downtime. Two internal M.2 2280 slots support NVMe SSDs for high-speed caching or dedicated storage tiers. Cooling is handled by two 92 mm fans, which operate at 20.5 dB under standard conditions. The system is powered by an external 100 W adapter and consumes approximately 37.91 W under typical loads.
