KitchenAid 5KEK1222ESX kettle, 1.25L, 2200W, Stainless steel

The KitchenAid 5KEK1222ESX is a 1.25 L, 2200 W stainless steel electric kettle. Its 2200 W heating element boils water quickly for hot drinks or cooking. The stainless steel body is durable, making the kettle well-suited to frequent use. It operates via a simple power button rather than adjustable temperature settings, and an indicator light shows when the kettle is switched on.

The cordless jug sits on a 360° base, allowing you to set it down from any angle. The lid is fully removable, making it easy to fill the kettle at the tap or clean the interior. Safety features include an automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection, which prevents the element from heating up if the kettle is empty. A transparent water gauge on the side helps you measure the contents accurately. The unit weighs 1140 g when empty, which keeps it stable on its base during use.

• 1.25 L capacity: enough for several servings from a single boil.
• Concealed heating element: avoids direct contact with water to reduce limescale and simplify cleaning.
• Removable anti-calc filter: traps limescale to keep the water clear.
• Integrated cord storage: keeps your worktop tidy by tucking away the 0.91 m power cable under the base.
• Stainless steel interior: ensures water does not come into contact with plastic components.
• Compact design: its 262 mm height and 178 mm width take up little space on the worktop.
• Slim profile: the 226 mm depth allows the unit to sit flush against a wall or tiled backsplash.
