KitchenAid Artisan 5KEK1522EBK kettle, 1.5L, 2400W, Black Cast Iron

The KitchenAid Artisan 5KEK1522EBK electric kettle (1.5 L, 2400 W) features precise temperature control. A lever-operated thermostat allows you to select from seven heat settings, depending on the drink you are preparing. An integrated analog thermometer shows the internal water temperature in real time, even when the kettle is off its base. With a 1.5 L capacity and 2400 W of power, the unit heats water quickly. The double-wall construction keeps water hot for longer while ensuring the exterior remains cooler to the touch during use.

The kettle is built from a combination of aluminium and stainless steel for durability. Its concealed heating element is easy to clean and helps prevent mineral buildup, while a removable filter at the spout captures limescale. For safety, the unit includes automatic switch-off, overheat protection, and boil-dry protection. The 360-degree base allows for cordless use and features storage for the 1.37-metre power cord. The hinged lid is opened via a button, a window shows the water level, and non-slip feet keep the kettle stable on the worktop.
