The KitchenAid Artisan Kettle 5KEK1522EMS (1.5 L, 2400 W, Silver Medal) is an electric kettle with an adjustable thermostat. It uses a 2400 W heating element to heat water to specific temperatures for different drinks. Seven settings ranging from 50°C to 100°C are selectable via a manual lever, allowing for the precise brewing of delicate teas or coffees. The housing is made of stainless steel and aluminium.

The kettle’s double-wall construction retains internal heat while keeping the exterior cooler to the touch. A temperature gauge on the side of the unit displays the current water temperature, even when the kettle is removed from its base.
