The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones, Anthracite Black, are designed for stereo music listening, calls and travel. Each earcup uses a 40 mm biocellulose driver, the central component behind the headphones' audio output. An integrated headphone amplifier works with 24-bit digital signal processing to manage the incoming audio signal. Adaptive active noise cancellation reduces ambient sound in busy surroundings. The closed-back, over-ear format encloses the ears rather than resting on them, distinguishing the design from smaller on-ear and in-ear alternatives.

The construction combines aluminium, fabric, memory foam and synthetic leather in the headband design. Memory foam padding supplies cushioning around the wearer's head and ears. At 300 g, the weight is worth considering for extended listening or packing the headphones for a journey. Physical button controls allow adjustments directly from the headset, including on-device volume control. Customisable equalisation is available through the Bowers & Wilkins Music app, allowing listeners to alter the tuning without relying only on source-device settings.
