The MINISFORUM NAS N5 Pro Mini PC/NAS - AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370, 32 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD combines a desktop computer with a compact network-attached storage enclosure. It is designed for centralised storage, backups, development, virtualisation and AI workloads. The processor has 12 cores and 24 threads, operating at 4.5 GHz with boost speeds up to 5.1 GHz. Five removable hard-drive bays provide the basis for high-capacity storage pools and RAID configurations. Three M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots allow further expansion with NVMe SSDs.

Two SO-DIMM slots support up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, including ECC memory in suitable configurations. This capacity is relevant when the system is used for multiple containers, virtual machines or larger datasets. MinisCloud OS is preinstalled for NAS operation. The hardware can also run compatible Linux or Windows installations, providing a choice of server and desktop software environments. HDD screws and a U.2 SSD power cable are included for drive installation, alongside power, HDMI and network cables. A user manual is also supplied.
