SUNLU AMS Heater for Bambu Lab AMS

The SUNLU AMS Heater for Bambu Lab AMS is a replacement top cover and filament-drying upgrade for the first-generation Bambu Lab Automatic Material System. It conditions hygroscopic filament directly inside the AMS during an active print job, using PTC heating and a dual-airflow design to distribute warm air evenly across the material. By integrating the drying process into the material feeder, it reduces moisture-related defects such as poor layer adhesion and stringing, and removes the need for a separate external dryer.

The pack contains one complete heater and cover assembly, weighing 1,700 g. The unit replaces the standard lid and measures 363 × 278 × 131 mm. Intelligent humidity control allows operators to set a target relative humidity between 25% and 50% based on filament requirements. Safety features include a thermal switch and software protection, which together regulate internal operating conditions during extended drying cycles.
