The SUNLU PLA Glow-in-the-Dark Filament Future Green 1.75 mm 1000 g is a phosphorescent material designed for FDM 3D printers. It absorbs ambient light during exposure and emits a visible glow in dark conditions, making it suitable for decorative models, signs, and ornaments. The compound processes using standard PLA parameters and requires no specialised hardware modifications. It is compatible with any desktop FDM machine able to handle standard PLA formulations. Classified as easy to use, it suits both hobbyists and experienced operators. The filament lacks integrated weatherproofing and ultraviolet protection, which limits its practical use to indoor environments.
The 1.75 mm filament has a diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm to maintain consistent feeding through the extruder. It is supplied on a single spool containing 1 kg of material, with a gross weight of 1280 g. The base formulation behaves as a rigid compound, making it suitable for static display items rather than functional parts subjected to stress. Its spool form factor fits standard desktop printer mounts. Proper storage in a dry, sealed environment is required to preserve the phosphorescent properties between uses.
Key Features:- Nozzle temperature of 210 °C supports proper material flow
