The OTTOCAST CP88-T2 Mini Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter is a wireless adapter that converts a vehicle's factory-installed wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connection into a wireless setup. This allows compatible smartphones to interface with the car's infotainment system without a physical cable. The device uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to establish the connection. Operation is automatic, as the unit starts connecting when the vehicle is powered on. Compatibility requires an iPhone running iOS 10 or later, or an Android device running Android 11 or higher. Many cars from 2017 onward with factory-installed wired systems are supported. BMW vehicles are explicitly excluded from the listed compatibility.
