TERRAMASTER D4-320U - Direct Attached Storage Enclosure

The TERRAMASTER D4-320U 4-Bay Rack-Mountable USB 3.2 Gen 2 DAS Enclosure is a direct-attached storage solution for expanding server and workstation capacity. It connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2, providing data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s. Four drive bays accept 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA hard drives or solid-state drives, allowing a maximum total capacity of 128 TB depending on the drives installed. Users must supply their own drives to populate the bays and reach this capacity.

Cooling is handled by three 40 mm fans with intelligent temperature control to regulate airflow. The unit operates at a noise level of 35 dB and draws 45.5 W of typical power from a 72 W external adapter. Broad operating system compatibility covers Windows, macOS, Linux, and Ubuntu environments, and it also supports server platforms such as Proxmox, TrueNAS, and Unraid. Included backup features use TPC Backupper for Windows to manage data protection tasks.
