The SUNLU FilaDryer S1 Plus Filament Dryer is a desktop unit designed to remove moisture from 3D printing filament before or during a print. Drying filament reduces common issues associated with damp material, such as bubbling, inconsistent extrusion, blocked nozzles, and poor layer adhesion. The unit supports a wide variety of materials, including PLA, ABS, HIPS, Nylon, BVOH, PETG, ASA, TPU, flexible filaments, PP, and PVA. It is intended for home users, hobbyists, and professional 3D printing workflows that require consistent filament handling. The dryer operates as both a storage unit and a direct-feed filament holder.

Operation is managed via a 2-inch LCD screen that displays current temperature, humidity, and drying time. Internal heating relies on a 360-degree wrap-around structure paired with a built-in fan to distribute heat evenly and prevent thermal stratification. Dual temperature probes help maintain stable heating control throughout the drying cycle. Integrated rollers allow the material to be fed directly into a printer while it is being dried or stored. The unit measures 271 × 237 × 100 mm and weighs 980 g, allowing it to sit alongside standard desktop 3D printers without taking up excessive desk space.
