The CARLINKIT TBOX ULTRA Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter adds wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto to vehicles that already have the factory-installed wired versions. It lets drivers use navigation, music, and communication apps without leaving a phone plugged in. The adapter runs on Android 15, which supports direct app installation and standalone operation. Dual-channel switching manages the data link between the vehicle's infotainment unit and the mobile device. It connects to the vehicle via a USB interface that supplies the required 5 V at 1 A.

Compatibility covers vehicles with an existing factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto setup. The hardware supports an iPhone 6 or newer running iOS 10 or later, and Android phones running Android 11 or later. Its housing measures 78.6 × 78.6 × 18.5 mm and weighs 98.3 g, making it easy to tuck away in a centre console. Bluetooth handles the initial wireless pairing with the mobile device.
