The RAINPOINT HIC406B 4-Zone Bluetooth Irrigation Controller manages up to four watering zones using one main valve and three auxiliary valves. Connecting to a smartphone through the RainPoint Home app, it lets users create and adjust watering schedules, operate zones manually, and change settings seasonally from a distance. Each zone supports up to eight individual watering schedules. The system includes rain sensor compatibility and flow adjustment features to adapt irrigation to changing conditions. It is designed for home gardens, lawns, orchards, greenhouses, nurseries, and remote watering applications.

A DC latching solenoid design allows the unit to run on four AA batteries, providing up to 12 months of use without a mains power connection. The IP67-rated enclosure protects the device against dust and water, making it suitable for outdoor installations and locations exposed to the elements. Available in a grey and white finish, the controller blends into various environments. Battery operation and remote app management mean physical access to the unit is rarely needed after the initial configuration. The absence of a power cord further simplifies placement in remote or agricultural areas.
