The RAINPOINT ITV517V6-RS Irrigation Controller with Wired Rain Sensor is designed for automated garden and outdoor irrigation. A wired rain sensor connects to the main unit, detects rainfall, and temporarily pauses scheduled watering. This prevents unnecessary watering without the user having to disable the system manually. The controller works with irrigation systems operating at pressures up to 8 bar. It adjusts watering automatically when the weather changes.

A large LCD screen and simple controls make the schedules easy to configure. The housing has an IP54 rating, which protects the internal electronics from dust and water splashes outdoors. Manual operation is available for ad-hoc watering between programmed cycles. The system supports three independent watering programmes for separate zones or different plant requirements.
