After a cat exits, the system separates waste from clean litter and transfers it into a sealed waste compartment, reducing the need for daily scooping. The 11.23-litre waste bin can provide up to approximately 14 days of hands-free use for a single cat, depending on usage patterns. An open-top entry allows easy access for larger animals, and the included litter mat helps reduce tracking around the unit. The device runs on mains electricity via a 12 V power adapter, so there is no battery to manage.

Six pairs of infrared sensors and four weight sensors monitor activity inside the unit and pause the cleaning cycle whenever a cat is detected, adding a layer of safety during operation. A dedicated Kitten Mode is available for younger cats that may be too light to trigger the standard weight threshold.
