SONOFF SNZB-04P - Door and Window Sensor, White

The SONOFF SNZB-04P Zigbee 3.0 Door and Window Sensor is a magnetic contact sensor that reports whether an opening is open or closed. It is designed for doors, windows, cabinets, and similar points of access, providing status information to a compatible Zigbee smart-home system. Status changes can be used to trigger automations, such as switching connected lights or sending notifications. A tamper alert can notify users if the sensor is removed or interfered with. It uses Zigbee 3.0 rather than Wi-Fi, so operation depends on a compatible Zigbee hub or gateway.

The white plastic housing attaches to a surface with the included self-adhesive tape, avoiding the need for a separate mounting bracket. A reset button is provided for resetting the sensor during setup or use. Compatibility includes SONOFF Zigbee hubs, Home Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings, as well as other compatible Zigbee systems. Apple Home support is available through a compatible Matter bridge. The sensor is intended for indoor use, and its replaceable battery is specified to last for up to five years.
