The SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus is a USB-connected coordinator for a local Zigbee smart home network. It turns a compatible computer or Raspberry Pi into the network’s central coordinator. With Zigbee routers in place, the network can support up to 200 devices. Compatible coordinator software handles device connections, monitoring, and automation, so the dongle acts as the radio interface rather than a standalone gateway.

An aluminium alloy housing helps reduce electromagnetic interference. The coordinator works with Home Assistant via ZHA, Zigbee2MQTT, ioBroker, Domoticz, openHAB, and Jeedom, alongside compatible devices from SONOFF, Aqara, Philips Hue, Huawei, IKEA, and Tuya. This lets supported products from different manufacturers share a single network without needing separate brand-specific hubs. It is intended for indoor use with a compatible USB host and does not provide standalone Wi-Fi gateway functionality or direct smartphone control.
