The SONOFF Dongle-LMG21 Dongle Lite MG21 Zigbee 3.0 and Thread USB Dongle is an adapter for creating and managing local Zigbee and Thread networks. Its EFR32MG21 radio can operate as a Zigbee or Thread coordinator. Supported firmware configurations include Zigbee NCP/router and OpenThread RCP/MultiPAN modes. It enables local management of connected devices through compatible smart-home systems without relying on cloud services alone.
The dongle is designed for Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, openHAB, and eWeLink CUBE, and supports Windows, Ubuntu, Raspberry Pi OS, and Docker environments. Its adjustable external antenna has a stated range of up to 140 metres in open areas. The included USB extension cable helps position it away from computers and other sources of USB interference.
