The ASUS ROG Pelta Core Wired Gaming Headset uses 50 mm drivers with titanium-plated diaphragms for gaming audio. Its closed-back, over-ear design provides stereo playback rather than a specified surround-sound format. The rated headphone frequency range is 20–20,000 Hz. Voice chat is handled by a detachable 10 mm boom microphone, which can be removed when it is not needed. A unidirectional pickup pattern and microphone noise cancellation support speech capture, while a mute function lets you disable the microphone.

The headset weighs 300 g and uses a headband design with mesh fabric ear cushions. Its USB connection supports PC, Mac, consoles, and compatible mobile devices. Android, iOS, and iPadOS are listed among the supported mobile operating systems, though device compatibility still needs to be checked. The included 1.8 m USB-A-to-USB-C cable is the supplied connection option for a USB-A port.
