This next-generation Mellanox-based switch adds Fourteen Data Rate (FDR) InfiniBand performance for HP ProLiant Gen8 blade servers. Together with the new HP InfniBand/Ethernet mezzanine host channel adapters based on next-generation Mellanox ConnectX-3 technology, it supports InfiniBand bandwidth up to 56 Gb/s Fourteen Data Rate (FDR), and is available as an unmanaged or a managed switch.
It provides high performance interconnect solutions for enterprise data centers, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud computing. For server and storage clustering it offers unprecedented scalability and fabric flexibility.
