Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter - Network adapter

The Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter provides a wired network interface for desktop PCs. This internal expansion card connects to the motherboard via a standard PCI Express interface. It establishes a physical link for local networks at data transfer rates of up to 1,000 Mbit/s. Using copper-based cabling, the adapter provides a stable connection for local network traffic and internet access.

An integrated Intel 82574L controller manages network traffic. The card is compatible with a range of operating systems, including Windows 2000, XP, Vista, early Windows Server editions, Linux, and DOS. It includes both low-profile and full-height brackets for different case sizes. The card is energy efficient, with a typical power consumption of 1.9 watts.
