The NOCTUA NF-S12A FLX is a 120mm case fan engineered for low-noise system cooling. It utilizes Noctua's SSO2 bearing, a self-stabilizing oil-pressure design that contributes to its operational stability and long-term durability. The fan's frame and seven-blade rotor are specifically designed for high-airflow, low-impedance scenarios, such as case intake or exhaust. With standard 120x120x25 mm dimensions and a 3-pin connector, it is mechanically and electrically compatible with the fan mounts and headers found in most PC chassis.

This model provides three distinct, fixed-speed settings for predictable performance. By default, the fan operates at 1200 RPM, producing an airflow of 63.27 CFM at a noise level of 17.8 dB. The included Low-Noise and Ultra-Low-Noise Adapters can be used to reduce the rotational speed to 900 RPM or 700 RPM, respectively. This hardware-based control allows users to establish a consistent balance between airflow and acoustics without relying on motherboard software or dedicated fan controllers.
