The Girls are back! Returning for its sophomore season, the hit HBO comedy series from writer/director/star Lena Dunham continues to follow the lives of aspiring 20-something writer Hannah Horvath (Dunham) and her complicated web of New York City friends, ex-friends, boyfriends, and ex-boyfriends. In Season 2, Hannah forges ahead in her writing career and begins seeing someone new, but her enthusiasm is tempered by the responsibility she feels for her now-ex Adam--convalescing after his Season 1 finale accident--and the pressures of the publishing business. Meanwhile, Jessa, Marnie and Shoshanna makes strides in their own relationships and jobs, though the bumps they encounter remind them that they still have a lot to learn.
