Delock PCI Slot Bracket 2 x Serial DB9 - Slot bracket, black/grey/red

The DeLOCK PCI slot bracket (89083) adds two external RS-232 serial ports to a PC by connecting to existing internal motherboard headers. This bracket is designed for systems that require additional DB9 connectivity for legacy hardware or specialized peripherals. It features two external 9-pin D-Sub male connectors and two internal 9-pin female COM headers. The cables are 0.27 metres long, which is sufficient to reach from the motherboard to the rear of the chassis. The bracket fits into any standard, empty PCI slot, providing accessible external ports.

The bracket uses a straight pin-to-pin configuration for the internal COM headers to ensure signal consistency. It requires a motherboard with two available internal COM ports and is not compatible with Apple systems. The assembly consists of four connectors linking the motherboard to the rear of the chassis. Before installation, ensure the motherboard layout supports the 9-pin female header spacing.
