ATEN UCE260, USB 2.0 - USB extender

The ATEN UCE260-AT-G USB 2.0 Extender uses Cat 5, 5e, or 6 cabling to extend a USB Type-A connection beyond standard cable limits. This hardware set allows for a distance of up to 60 metres between a host computer and remote peripherals. The link supports USB 2.0 standards with a maximum data transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s, sufficient for office equipment and other devices requiring consistent data streams.

Housed in a rigid plastic casing, the units are designed for use in a variety of environments. Installation is plug-and-play, with no need for manual driver configuration. The system uses two units: the host transmitter draws power directly from the computer, while the remote receiver is powered by an external adapter. This ensures that attached devices receive a consistent 5 V, 2.6 A output during operation.
