Ubiquiti NanoStation M5 - Wireless Access Point / CPE, White

The Ubiquiti NanoStation M5 is an outdoor wireless access point and CPE for the 5 GHz band. It uses the Wi-Fi 4 standard, providing data rates of up to 150 Mbit/s. Its integrated panel antenna uses dual linear polarization to maintain stability in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations. The airMAX protocol manages throughput and reduces latency during wireless bridging. With 64 MB of memory, the device handles network traffic and management tasks. It is primarily used to establish wireless Ethernet links between remote locations or as a subscriber unit at the network edge.

Connectivity is provided by two 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet RJ-45 ports. Power is supplied via a 24 V passive PoE system, which carries data and power over a single cable. A PoE adapter is included for installations where power outlets are not available near the mounting point. The enclosure is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate to withstand outdoor conditions. Measuring 294 mm high and 80 mm wide, the 400 g unit is designed for pole or wall mounting. Wireless security is provided by WPA2 encryption. The device is FCC and CE certified for international telecommunications standards.
