The TP-Link TL-MR6400 4G LTE router connects to the internet by converting a cellular signal into a local wireless or wired network. The device includes a built-in SIM card slot and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, and UMTS connections. It provides Wi-Fi 4 connectivity on the 2.4 GHz band, with data speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s. It operates on six 4G LTE frequency bands: 800, 900, 1800, 1900, 2100, and 2600 MHz. This router is suitable for locations where fixed-line broadband is limited or unavailable.

Four 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet ports provide wired connectivity. One of these ports can be configured as a WAN input, allowing the device to connect to a cable or fibre modem if cellular data is not being used. Two detachable external antennas manage signal reception and can be replaced if necessary. You can manage the router via a web-based interface to configure DHCP settings and Quality of Service parameters. Security features include a stateful packet inspection firewall and WPA2-PSK encryption. LEDs indicate the status of power, WLAN, and LAN activity.
