The Akasa AK-CCE-7106HP is a low-profile air cooler engineered for environments where vertical chassis clearance is restricted. With a total height of 29.5 mm, this unit is suitable for deployment in mini-ITX, HTPC, and other small form factor system builds. The design is rated to manage processor thermal loads up to a 73W Thermal Design Power (TDP). Heat absorption relies on an aluminum heatsink incorporating a full-height copper core insert at the base plate interface.

Thermal dissipation is managed by a single 74 mm fan utilizing a Hydro Dynamic Bearing (HDB), which provides an operational Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) of 50,000 hours. Fan speeds are variable, ranging from 600 RPM to a maximum of 3000 RPM, controlled via a 4-pin Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) connector. This mechanism allows the system to adjust rotational speed according to real-time temperature requirements, minimizing acoustic output during low-load operation.
