NETGEAR ProSAFE XS708T - Managed switch, Black

The NETGEAR ProSAFE XS708T-100NES is an 8-port 10GBase-T managed switch with two shared SFP+ combo ports, operating at Layer 2+/L3 for high-bandwidth networks. It features eight RJ-45 ports that support 10 Gbps data rates over Cat5e to Cat7 cabling. Two of these ports function as shared SFP+ combo interfaces, allowing for fiber optic uplinks alongside the copper infrastructure. The device provides a total switching capacity of 160 Gbit/s to prevent bottlenecks. This non-PoE model is designed for high-throughput tasks, such as virtualization or dedicated storage arrays.

The unit has a 440 mm wide, rack-mountable chassis and weighs 2,980 g. An internal fan cools the system, with an operating noise level of 29.1 dB. Administrators can configure the switch via a web-based interface or standard SNMP. Security and network segmentation are managed via 802.1X RADIUS authentication and support for up to 256 active VLANs. The switch also includes an integrated DHCP server and consumes a maximum of 96 W under full load.
