The Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-AC-PRO is a dual-band, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) access point. It operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, offering a combined maximum throughput of 1750 Mbit/s—1300 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 450 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. Using three internal antennas with 3x3 MIMO and beamforming technology, it supports stable connections for up to 250 devices, with a maximum coverage area of 140 m².

The device features two Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired networking and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to receive power and data through a single cable. Its polycarbonate chassis is designed for wall or ceiling mounting. Security is handled via WPA2 and AES encryption, with support for guest access and tagged VLANs. The unit is managed through a web-based interface and includes a USB 2.0 port and a physical reset button for maintenance.
