The Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam M5 400 (PBE-M5-400) is a 5 GHz, 25 dBi dish antenna for outdoor wireless bridging. It operates in the 5.17–5.875 GHz frequency range and supports wireless backhaul links. The dish reflector focuses signal energy to reduce interference from external sources. Its directional performance allows for network connections where physical cabling is impractical. As an integrated unit, it avoids the signal loss associated with external cables. The bridge provides up to 150 Mbit/s throughput for data-intensive tasks.

The UV-stabilized polycarbonate housing protects internal components from sunlight and environmental exposure over long-term use. The unit is rated for wind speeds of up to 200 km/h. It connects to the network via a single Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port and supports 24 V Power over Ethernet (PoE), which supplies both data and power through one cable, simplifying installation.
