StarTech.com ICUSB1284 - USB to Parallel Printer Adapter Cable, Black

The StarTech.com ICUSB1284 1.9 m USB 2.0 to Centronics 36-Pin Parallel Printer Adapter Cable connects legacy parallel printers to computers with USB ports. It features a male USB Type-A connector and a male 36-pin Centronics connector. The 1.9-metre cable provides enough length to connect to a host computer, allowing you to use older parallel devices on hardware that lacks a native parallel port.

A Prolific PL2305 controller handles signal conversion between the two standards. The cable is compatible with Windows 7 through 11, Windows Server, and Linux (kernel 2.6.x or later). It also supports macOS, from Catalina through to Sequoia. Each pack contains one black cable, allowing for the continued use of Centronics-based printers without the need for internal computer hardware upgrades.
