The StarTech.com PEX20000SFPI 2-Port PCIe 10GBASE fiber network adapter provides connectivity for PCs and servers. The card installs into a PCI Express 2.0 slot and features two SFP+ ports for use with fiber transceivers. Based on the Intel 82599 chipset, each port supports data transfer rates of 10 Gbit/s, providing a total aggregate throughput of 20 Gbit/s.

This PCIe fiber network card supports enterprise protocols for managing network traffic, including IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging for network segmentation. The card is compatible with Windows 7 through 11, with drivers available for Windows Server 2008 R2 through 2016 and Linux. Intel Virtualization Technology for Connectivity (VT-c) is included to optimise I/O processing in virtualised environments.
