The StarTech.com 12-inch (30 cm) Left-Angle SATA 3.0 Data Cable (SATA12LA1) connects a motherboard to internal storage drives. The cable supports the SATA 3.0 standard, allowing for data transfer rates of up to 6 Gbit/s. One end features a straight 7-pin SATA connector, while the other uses a 90-degree left-angled 7-pin connector. This angled design helps navigate tight spaces inside a computer chassis where a straight plug might be obstructed, which helps improve cable management and airflow in small form factor systems.

The cable is compatible with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch Serial ATA hard drives and internal optical drives.
