StarTech.com SCNM9FF2MBK - RS-232 Serial Null Modem Cable, Black

The StarTech.com SCNM9FF2MBK 2m DB9 RS-232 null-modem cable (female-to-female) enables direct communication between two serial devices. The cable uses a null-modem configuration that swaps the transmit and receive signals. Both ends feature 9-pin DB9 female connectors. It is primarily used for PC-to-PC data transfers and for connecting legacy industrial or office equipment.

The cable features a PVC jacket and internal aluminium-mylar foil shielding with a drain wire. This construction shields against electromagnetic interference to maintain signal stability. The molded DB9 connectors include integrated strain relief to prevent wire breakage, and each connector has thumbscrews for a secure connection. The cable is compatible with StarTech.com expansion cards, such as the PCI2S5502 and PEX4S953LP. Each pack contains one 2-meter cable.
