The Ubiquiti Instant Indoor Gigabit PoE Converter converts a standard RJ45 PoE input into a 24 V passive PoE output. This module takes 48 V IEEE 802.3af power from a switch and steps it down to a 24 V passive supply. Data passes through the hardware at speeds up to 1 Gbit/s. This allows low-voltage devices to be powered directly by standard networking equipment, carrying both power and data over a single cable.

Using this adapter removes the need for separate power injectors at the rack. Designed for indoor use, it integrates into existing local area networks to power compatible airMAX and UniFi hardware.
