The Black Box AVS-HDB-RX 4K Video Extender Receiver acts as an endpoint for long-distance AV installations. It converts an incoming HDBaseT signal from an RJ-45 connection into a standard HDMI output, allowing a remote monitor to display content from a distant source. The hardware supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels and requires Cat6 or Cat6a cabling for the connection.
The device transmits over compatible network cabling up to a distance of 70 metres. It maintains a 10.2 Gbit/s data rate to ensure signal stability over longer runs.
