The Black Box VX-1002-TX VX1000 Series Wallplate Transmitter (HDMI/VGA, HDBaseT, 4K, USB) is a permanent in-wall AV extender. It converts local HDMI and VGA source inputs into a single HDBaseT output for transmission to remote displays. The transmitter routes video over structured cabling in institutional or commercial environments. It supports a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at a 60 Hz refresh rate.
This white wall-plate transmitter uses standard Cat5e, Cat6a, or Cat7 networking cables. It is powered directly through the network infrastructure using Power over HDBaseT (PoH), eliminating the need for a separate power adapter. An integrated USB Type-A port supports USB 2.0 for peripheral devices. Built-in LED indicators show the link status. Both the digital and analogue source interfaces use standard connectors to accommodate common cables.
