The Ubiquiti airMAX IsoStation 5AC is a wireless bridge for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links. Operating on the 5 GHz band, it uses the airMAX AC protocol to achieve data rates of up to 450 Mbit/s. It functions within the 5.15 to 5.875 GHz frequency range and is designed for radio frequency isolation in high-noise environments. The device uses 802.11ac to bridge Ethernet networks wirelessly and is intended for outdoor backhaul applications.

A single Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port provides 10/100/1000 Mbit/s connectivity. This port also powers the device via Power over Ethernet (PoE), with a typical power consumption of 8.5 W. A web-based interface manages the device, providing access to a DHCP server and network configuration settings. WPA2 encryption secures the wireless link. The housing can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and measures 174 mm in width and depth. The hardware includes 64 MB of memory for bridge operations and routing, and a PoE injector is included.
