The device is built with an Asmedia ASM1351 chipset and supports UASP to improve data throughput efficiency. Constructed from black aluminium, the enclosure provides a durable housing that assists with passive heat dissipation during heavy use. It is a bus-powered device, drawing all necessary power directly from the host USB port without an external power supply.
