The HPE 20-port 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ / 4-port 1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T PoE+ v3 zl2 Module expands wired networking capacity for enterprise switch deployments. The module installs directly into a zl2 slot to provide local area network connectivity. As a dedicated wired adapter, it reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 10,000 Mbit/s to support heavy uplink traffic. The unit relies on physical cabling and lacks Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities, providing a dedicated, secure copper infrastructure.

This module requires an HPE 5400R zl2 Switch Series chassis for installation. It uses MACsec to maintain data integrity across active network segments. The unit weighs 940 g and measures 261.6 mm wide by 206.5 mm deep. Each interface provides Power over Ethernet Plus to power connected devices through the network cable. This centralized power delivery allows network administrators to consolidate endpoint management within a single rack.
