Each RJ45 copper port supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, offering an aggregate bandwidth of 1 Gbit/s for backend infrastructure. The ports are rated for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networking, and the card supports transmission distances of up to 100 metres using standard Cat 5 cabling.
Designed to fit various chassis sizes, the low-profile PCIe card includes both low-profile and full-height brackets. The hardware enables full-duplex operation on all ports, allowing simultaneous two-way data transmission. The integrated Intel I350 controller manages traffic across multi-core server environments. The adapter is compatible with major operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server versions from 2003 R2 to 2012 R2, as well as enterprise Linux distributions such as Red Hat and SUSE.
